Price the job three ways, send the homeowner a proposal they approve on their phone, take bids from your subs, and turn the yes into the job and its draws.
Give the homeowner a choice instead of a single number. Put a good, a better and a best version of the job on one quote, built from the items and prices in your price book. The homeowner reads all three on their phone and approves the one they want.
A builder's price starts with what the subs charge. Pick a scope, such as the gunite shell, and email a bid request to the subs you want to hear from. They open a link and put in a number, with no account and no login. You see the replies next to each other and accept one, and that cost goes on the build.
When the homeowner approves, the quote becomes the job without retyping. Start a new build, a remodel or a replaster from its own template of phases, and see every phase and job on one schedule.
The price the homeowner approved is paid in stages. Set a deposit, then a draw at each milestone, each one a fixed amount or a percent of the contract. A draw comes ready to bill when its phase is finished, and the homeowner pays the invoice online.

When the scope changes, so does the price.
Homeowners add a spa or upgrade the tile halfway through. Write it up as a change order, with its price or its credit, and send it. They approve or decline it in their portal. A yes moves the project total, and the agreement they first approved is still there to see.
The homeowner who approved the proposal gets a portal for the job. It shows which phase the build is in, the updates and photos you choose to publish, and the payment that is due next, with a way to pay it. What you write in your daily log stays with you.
Pool estimating software prices a pool job and turns the price into a proposal the homeowner can approve. It keeps your items and prices in a price book, lets you offer more than one option, and collects the sub bids that set your cost. After the yes it carries the job forward: the schedule, the payment plan and any change orders. PoolStack is pool estimating software for pool builders and remodelers, and the approved quote becomes the job without retyping.
Is an estimate the same as a bid, a quote or a proposal?
They are four words for the same thing: the price you give the homeowner for the job. So pool bid software, pool quoting software and pool proposal software all mean the same tool. PoolStack calls it a quote. A bid request is different. That is the price you ask a sub for.
Can I offer good, better and best options?
Yes. Price the job three ways on one quote. The homeowner sees the options side by side and approves the one they want.
How does the homeowner approve a proposal?
From their phone. They compare the options and approve the one they want, and the approved quote becomes the job without retyping.
Can I price a remodel or a replaster, or only a new pool?
Any of them, the same way. Once the quote is approved, start a new build, a remodel or a replaster from its own project template, each with its own phases and payment plan.
How do I get prices from my subs?
With a bid request. Choose the scope and the subs, and each sub gets an email with a link. They price the scope there and submit, without a login. You compare what came back and accept one, and the accepted cost goes on the build.
Is there a price book?
Yes. Your items and prices sit in a price book, ready to quote.
What happens after the homeowner says yes?
The quote becomes the job. Lay out the payment plan, a deposit and then a draw for each milestone, and see the phases on the schedule. The homeowner follows the build in their portal.
How do deposits and draws work?
Set the payment plan when the job starts: a deposit first, then one bill for each milestone, each a fixed amount or a percent of the contract. A bill can wait on its phase. When the phase is done you create the invoice, send it, and the homeowner pays online.
What if the scope changes after the proposal is approved?
It becomes a change order. Price what was added, or the credit, and send it to the homeowner. They say yes or no in their portal, or the office records a yes taken by phone or email. An approved change moves the project total. The original agreement is left as it was.
Does it show what the job made?
Yes. Every job shows its revenue, cost and profit, and every build shows its margin. The accepted bid's cost goes on the build, and material costs, purchases and supplier bills are recorded against it.
Does it sync with QuickBooks?
Yes. Customers, paid invoices and their payments go to QuickBooks Online on their own while you are connected.
Do I have to run the whole build in it to use the estimating?
No. There is one tier with the whole product in it, and nothing is held back for a higher plan. Start with quotes, and use the schedule, the draws and the service side when you are ready.
How much does pool estimating software cost?
PoolStack is $79 a month, all access: estimating comes with the whole product in one tier, with pool construction and pool service both in it. Early adopters lock that rate for life. See pricing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 30 days free, with the whole product. Keep your current software running until you are ready.
